​Ritony Cove is a DDA-licensed group home servicing Southern Maryland and its surroundings. We provide exceptional care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities (ID/DD). Owned and operated by a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in healthcare, our home is designed to offer a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for individuals with special needs. Our Direct Care Support Staff are highly trained, skilled, and deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Through ongoing training, hands-on experience, and a compassionate approach, our team supports individuals in achieving their personal goals and reaching their fullest potential. At Ritony Cove, our commitment to client-centered care is at the heart of everything we do. Our Story
Ritony Cove Residential Home was founded with a profound commitment to providing care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, deeply rooted in the values of two influential figures: St. Rita of Cascia and the founder's father, Anthony. St. Rita, known as the patron saint of the impossible, embodies unwavering faith, resilience, and grace in overcoming life's challenges—principles that inspire the home's mission. Anthony, a visionary who dedicated his life to teaching essential life skills to disadvantaged children, instilled a legacy of empowerment, compassion, and wisdom. These powerful influences, combined with the founder's extensive experience in healthcare education spanning over 15 years and personal connections with family members who have developmental disabilities, paved the way for the establishment of Ritony Cove. The company reflects a harmonious blend of St. Rita’s unshakable faith and Anthony's legacy of love and empowerment, creating a transformative environment where individuals with developmental disabilities are supported and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
